Face Drivers
Using a Face Driver allows the entire surface of the workpiece to be turned / machined in one setup on your CNC lathe. Roughing and finishing operations are completed in one clamping.
The benefits from a single turning process are;
- Improved concentricity
- No mismatching diameters
- Less handling as the shaft does not have to be removed for re-chucking
- For larger shafts there is no waiting time for lifting equipment to become available
