The mechanical system guarantees that there is no movement of the datum point. Temperature fluctuations that affect face drivers with heat sensitive compensating media have NO effect on the Neidlein Drivers.
All centres are positively clamped in position once the workpiece has been gripped, this ensures secure workholding for heavy duty cuts.
